Fletcher Hanson

J. Fletcher Hanson III is one of the founders of Solomon Partners Real Estate Companies and serves as a Principal and Chief Operations Officer of Grubb & Ellis | Solomon Partners Commercial Real Estate. Fletcher is primarily responsible for execution and oversight of the company’s central Arkansas operations, while serving as their designated executive broker. He actively participates in all areas of commercial brokerage and management services and brings with him over 17 year of commercial real estate experience. Fletcher previously served as Managing Member and Principle Broker of V3 Partners, LLC - Commercial Real Estate in Arkansas from November 2004 up until the point that V3 Partners merged it’s commercial operations into Grubb & Ellis | Solomon Partners.
Fletcher also serves as President of Vanadis 3 Companies, a valued associate of Solomon Partners, which has owned and operated various commercial real estate brokerage and development companies since 1997. Fletcher primarily serves Vanadis 3 Companies as a visionary entrepreneur in the development and/or redevelopment of some of the most challenging mixed-use, tax-credit / LIHTC and “legacy” urban projects in the region.
From 1997 though November 2004, Fletcher worked for Barnes, Quinn, Flake, & Anderson, Inc., subsequently Dickson Flake Partners, Inc. (”DFP”), where he spent his initial two years with the firm in property management before making a move into the area of commercial properties brokerage where he specialized in the marketing of retail, industrial, and office properties. Even though he resigned from DFP in November of 2004, he continues to enjoy a close working relationship with the firm.
Prior to joining DFP, Fletcher served as a real estate consultant for Southwestern Bell Wireless (”SWBW”), subsequently Cingular Wireless, from September 1995 to August 1997 where he (1) evaluated and negotiated real estate contracts on behalf of SWBW and (2) represented SWBW during zoning and permitting requests made to various real estate planning commissions and city boards throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma.
During the years 1991 to 1995, Fletcher engaged in the investment securities brokerage business where his position ranged from being a sales broker to owning and managing his own branch office.
Fletcher graduated from Harding Academy in Searcy with membership in the National Beta Society, National Honor Society, and Who’s Who Among American High School Students. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville in 1986, pledging Sigma Alpha Epsilon, before returning to central Arkansas where he worked in the family real estate development business and attended the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
Fletcher frequently attends courses held by the Institute of Real Estate Management (”IREM”), Building Owners and Managers Association (”BOMA”), International Council of Shopping Centers (”ICSC”) and the Commercial Investment Division of the National Association of Realtors. In 2003, he presented the “Retail Market Overview” for the entire State of Arkansas at the Oklahoma/Arkansas International Council of Shopping Centers event held annually in Tulsa, Okalahoma. In 2004 and 2005, he presented the “State of the Commercial Real Estate Industry - Central Arkansas” to the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Fletcher is a Graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XVI, currently serving as an alumni member. He is also a Member of the Little Rock Board of Realtors, Arkansas CCIM Chapter and the International Council of Shopping Centers. In February of 2005, the City of Little Rock appointed Fletcher to a three-year term as a member of the Little Rock Board of Adjustment. He is currently a candidate for the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Manager (”CCIM”).
